Jacob drama and even more huge spoilers

Accident next week (March 23) will broadcast a double edition that will launch the latest boxed series “Breaking Point”.

The new block of episodes will bring Jacob back to the forefront, exploring Rash's mental health following the death of her father. Fans will also be introduced to newcomers Patrick, Nicole and Tariq.

Here's the full collection of top upcoming moments:

1. The rash reaches the bottom

Next week's episode will cover the last five days in the life of Rash, who is seeking therapy for a nervous breakdown.

In a special episode dedicated to Rash, he talks with his therapist about the events that led to this.

The series then takes us back to five days earlier, when a hesitant Rash heads to work, already feeling overwhelmed.

2. Tariq is back

Fans first met Rash's cousin Tariq at Ashok's funeral a few weeks ago, but he returns to the screen next week – currently working in the ER.

Killing Eve star Manpreet Bachu was cast as junior doctor Tariq, who is determined to support Rash on his first day back at work following the death of his father.

3. Meet Patrick

Next week, viewers will also meet newcomer Patrick, who is not getting off to a good start with Rash.

Jamie Glover has been cast as Patrick, who will take over as the new clinical director of the emergency department following Max's departure.

Patrick is unimpressed by Rash's fragile condition and dismisses him from his case.

4. Rash tries to prove himself

In Patrick's office, Rash becomes defensive and tries to explain his earlier mistake, but Patrick reminds him to stay in control.

He also thinks that Rash may have gone back to work too soon after his dad died and is surprised when Rash mentions that he wants to become a consultant through CESR.

Even though Patrick explains how intense the process is, Rash says he is ready and determined to prove himself.

But it quickly becomes clear that Patrick may have been right.

5. Meet Nicole

Victim the second episode will introduce us to junior doctor Nicole, played by Sammy T. Dobson.

Nicole is late on her first day in the emergency room, and things only get worse when she's stopped by the cries of a baby abandoned outside the hospital.

With no one else around, Nicole has no choice but to take her baby to work.

6. Jacob gets an unexpected phone call

Jacob receives a disturbing call from his son Blake, who is in trouble and needs help.

Jacob is called to work for Iain and soon finds himself involved in a case involving the aforementioned abandoned child.

7. Ngozi learns Nicole's secret

While the team works to help a child who is unwell, Nicole feels guilty for not finding him sooner.

Ngozi calms her down and assures Nicole that she did everything right. However, Ngozi quickly notes that Nicole has more than just professional interests here.

When Nicole is later sick while treating a patient, she confides in Ngozi what is really going on.

8. Jacob makes a disturbing discovery

Jacob begins to suspect that his son Blake may have had some involvement in the child's abandonment, and soon his fears are confirmed.

Determined that Blake and his grandson will do the right thing, Jacob faces a life-changing decision.

9. Rida will have a devastating day ahead

Rida is on the phone with nurses in an unsuccessful attempt to provide inpatient treatment for patient Fern, who has been readmitted to the emergency room.

Rida is frustrated that she can't help, but Fern isn't surprised and insists she's heard it all before.

Rida is later worried when she returns to the pits and finds Fern not there. She is horrified to discover that Fern has taken her own life in the toilet.

She is devastated and furious that they don't have the staff to prevent this from happening. Siobhan comforts Rida, but will it be enough to stop Rida from questioning her future in the ER?

10. Tariq supports Rash

Tariq offers his support to a heartbroken Rash after Fern's death and insists that's what family is for.

In response, Rash offers Tariq a place to stay for the night.

Accident it's windy on Saturday nights on BBC One. The show is now airing episodes early on BBC iPlayer at 6am on the day of broadcast.
